The Earthsim Free Online Screensaver is a free lower-resolution taster of what you can expect from the Earthsim Online Screensaver and Earthsim TV. It provides an ideal opportunity for prospective users to test the performance of Earthsim products on their machine, as well as offering a free glimpse into one of the most beautiful screensavers available online. The free screensaver features:
On-going updates to camera paths, realistic atmosphere modelling and real-time sun position, beautiful pre-programmed sunrises and sunsets, starfield with accurate star positions, colours and relative magnitudes, the ability to roam around a 3D rendered Earth and Moon, and high resolution (1 pixel to 4km) Earth with accurate orientation and orbit. Important - you must have Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 and DirectX 8.0 or greater installed on your computer to run any Earthsim application. If you do not have either of these installed on your machine, you may download them for free at Microsft's website (www.microsoft.com).
